Description
The Tera4000 is a compact semiconductor repeater for LAN-WDM application, support 4 channel 1310nm optical signal input and 4 channels signal output, typical for 1310nm optical signal re-generation in high-speed Ethernet and Telecommunication networking application. The equipment supports wavelength from 1294nm to 1311nm, which allows the platform to support 100GE LR CFP/CFP2 module for 40Km transmission application. It is offered in a cost-effective 1U box with a management port (RJ45 Ethernet 10/100MBase-T) and RJ11 console interface.
The platform supports remote control. Typical applications such as:
? Extending the optical link budget to meet distance and attenuation requirements of LAN WDM networks
? High throughput Ethernet connectivity over large distances
? Upgrade the optical link budget to support 10G, 40G and 100G services
? Reducing number of regenerators and sites along fiber, Overcome more fiber and connector loss.
